The appointment comes at an exciting time for the QAS, which has grown to over 40 accredited organisations globally.
Nick Ong-Seng said: “I am truly honoured to be joining QAS as its new chair. Having originally trained to become an actuary, I recognise first-hand the depth of quality, technical expertise and intellectual rigour throughout the profession.
“What excites me most is the prospect of working with the QAS Committee, the IFoA Executive and, above all, our members to build upon the impressive growth to date and firmly establish QAS as the definitive global scheme for quality and professional standards.”
